Working with a wide range of artists, from Chuck D to Yoko Ono, and searching for sounds from Antarctica to the South Pacific, Paul Miller uses his remixes to reveal the hidden stories of our world. Miller is a composer, multimedia artist and writer for The MIT Press.

In using the essays that are in Sound Unbound, Miller makes the lecture format a cross between a formal exploration of the issues in which Sound Unbound focuses, and the remix concept that drives much of the book. It is a rip-mix-burn-lecture.
